Line Development
If you're looking to have your private clothing line, Marisol will help you from the initial process of creating it!
We start out with creating ideas and concepts of your brand through sketches and pictures. Then we choose fabrics, trimmings and finishings. Now we are ready to enter in brand development, which is the beginning of pattern making and sewing samples of every pattern made. Once samples are made, we fit them on a person for corrections and then the next phase starts, which is Production. Marisol has a production team that will sew your garments in Los Angeles, California, in a timely manner.
For this service fee, you'll need a budget depending on the amount of styles, quality of fabrics and garment finishings. However; The good news is that Marisol works with every Designer's budget and works at your personal pace.
Production
if you are that brand with patterns already graded then this service is for you. We take pride in making clothing locally in L.A.!!
The cost of production will be quoted depending of quantity, style, fabrics and finishings. We don't require minimums but keep in mind that volume is key to a lower quote. The duration of every production also varies on the product but it takes from 3-4 weeks for completion from the date that it's turned into their cutting service and not to us.
This time frame also depends on their pick-up date and work load. There is a rush fee if you need a quick production turn around of 10 days.
All productions are required to be paid up front, no exceptions.
Pattern, Grading, and Sample Making
If you have a sketch or a picture of a garment them Marisol can make your idea happen!
This service provides you a pattern and a sewn sample of your garment idea. And Grading is the process of making that pattern in every size.
Every style requires a pattern and every pattern requires a sewn sample to test out your garment idea. Both go hand in hand but if you only require one of these services its totally doable. Grading of patterns is done after sample fit is approved, and prior to entering into production of that style.
Patterns start at $75.00 depending on the style.
Grading is $35 per size.
Sewn Samples start at $50 depending on style and finishing of garment.
Garment Design
Marisol has been working with designers of all ages, men and women clothing, different types of clothing.... However; Marisol is also a designer herself!!
She is the founder of her clothing label "Marisol California" founded in 1991 which it's a Women's Contemporary fashion line. Available in stores.
In this service, we offer you the perspective of a designer like Marisol, who will take your concept of your brand and create for your label a complete collection according to the season and trends. Her expertise in high fashion will have your brand showing a fashion forward collection yet relatable to your customer.
Using this service is a period of 6 months to develop your brand. This comes with several consultation times, sketches, mood boards, fabric selection, doing all the shopping, pattern making, sewn samples, fittings, product pictures and line sheets of the collection. The entire process that you'll need to present your clothing line to your customer!!
This also makes you the owner of this collection because you are paying for the ideas.
The total cost for this service is $10,000.00 - $13,000.00 (price depends on the type of fabrics that we are using.)
